On January 19, 2002 -- Pat Gallagher reports
that the ending balance as of December 31, 2001 is
$5,899.31.

On December 11, 2002 Pat Gallagher
reports: "Due to Ames many pleas for more donations to
the Scholarship Fund, he has raised a total of $8,267.92
in just 3 weeks! That includes the matching funds
donated by one of our classmates. The total as of
December 10 is now
$14,578.24!
Thanks to Rich and a number of donors, we will be able
to award the first scholarship in 2003. A big thank you
to Rich and the many donors from his friends and fellow
56ers!"

The
Scholarship Fund balance as of March 31, 2003 is
$16,323.35.
This is due to Rich's campaign last December which
brought in excess of $10,000! |
