Class of 1956 Upcoming EVENTS
The 9th Annual Reno
Reunion will be held on May 20th & 21st 2012 which is a
Sunday Monday. Some Classmates will show up on the
Saturday before and some will linger thru Tuesday. It
will be held at the PEPPERMILL Casino Resort on Virginia
street. Bring a Classmate with you ... hell, bring
several and really have a good time. CARAVAN!
If you have been thinking about going over the past 8
years now is the time to act since everyone will be 74
years old and not getting any younger.
If your husband or wife doesn't want to go ....GO
ANYWAY! You'll probably have more fun without them
whining, losing money on the slots, or being bored
because they don't know anyone. I know my wife is
showing up for sure this time.
We might even take a trip up to Virginia City for 3
hours on Sunday .. say about 11:00am?

The 8th Annual Reno Reunion was held in May 22-23, 2011 at the PEPPERMILL CASINO and RESORT in Reno,
Nevada.
We will meet daily next to the "Biscotti Restaurant"
which is by the upper level Pool Area. Dinner will be at
5:00pm. Breakfast at 9:00am. Plenty to do for
non-classmates. I will keep everyone posted on "Who's
going, Room Rates and other information on our
Class
Message Board.

We had 35 Classmates attend last year and there names
are also posted on our message board. If you plan to
attend please let us know so we can put you on our list
of "Attendee's". Some classmates will show up the
saturday before and other may stay an extra day. If you
have a particular classmate you'd like to be there give
them a call and get them to show up as well! For more

1999 Rich Ames suggested the
class of 1956 should have presence on the World Wide Web
and that's where the idea for this site came from. I
(Millard Hiner) have been programming in HTML for many
years and took on the task for fun and I enjoy dinking
on it.
I originally set
the site up on a free server (Yahoo's Geocities) and
that worked for a while but soon after the 2001 reunion
the data transfer rates started to exceed the free
service and Geocities would shut the site down part of
each day. So I've transferred the site to commercial
servers and the following classmates have contributed
financial aid. Just
click on the “PayPal Donate” link below to use a credit
card to help us keep ehs1956.com online.
That’s
where you come in. If you like what you are getting on
the ‘56er’s web, if you want more of it, and if you
believe that ehs1956.com is providing a vital service,
please give us a hand and contribute to the site. A
donation of just $10 or $25 will prove immensely helpful
towards enabling us pay the operating expenses.
Be
assured: Unlike other websites that hemorrhage money,
ehs1956.com has always gotten a fantastic bang for the
buck. You’ll find no frilly offices, no massive expense
accounts, no designer couches, no latte machines, and no
staff masseurs (oh, maybe a massage now and then).
